Dear Parents/Guardians of Glendale Middle/High School Students:
This is the last week of school for our students…we made it! The purpose of this letter is to inform you that all students in grades 7-11 are invited onto campus for our last two days of school – Wednesday 6/9 and Thursday 6/10.
Wednesday 6/9 is a full day of school. High school students will have their regular classes during the first half of the day, then enjoy enrichment classes for the second half of the day. High school students registered for their enrichment classes last week which include, but are not limited to: pizza making, origami, chess/board games, disc golf, search & rescue/wilderness survival and more!
Middle school students will hold their annual auctions (7th and 8th grade separate auctions) during the first half of the school day, then 7th graders will enjoy enrichment classes during the second half of the day while the 8th graders practice and prepare for their 8th grade promotion ceremony (same evening @ 6pm).
Thursday 6/10 (last day of school) is a half day 8:00am – 12:25pm. The purpose of our last half day on 6/10 is to wrap up any class needs and say goodbye before returning next year!
Summer learning registration has begun and will go thru 6/24. Students have been provided with registration forms and were asked to have parent/guardians sign and return to the school. Registration is available over the phone too, please call (541) 832-1801 to register high school or middle school students. We have learning sessions available 6/28 – 7/1, 7/6 – 7/29 and 8/2 – 8/12. Classes are filling up fast, so register soon! We’re encouraging all student to take advantage of our summer learning opportunities to help make up for the learning hardships which have occurred since COVID-19 began. Bussing and school lunches will be provided for our summer learning program!
